No one can refute the reality that HR Universities have been lacking diversity in India, be it ethnic or gender diversity. The more the HRD colleges are diverse, the more is the work culture. Coping with power differentials means careful management of intersections of difference.
This workshop will explore the availability of diversity in Indian Human Resource Management courses. Throughout India, universities and colleges own a great diversity of backgrounds as it is. However, this diversity largely diminishes in the case of a human resource management course.
The reason for omitting some students could be because not all universities provide such courses or families are reluctant to let their children study it given the fatality rates in the field.
So for students and working professionals who are interested in more about these HR controversies & future of these programmes and want to understand more about the reality & backgrounds, the Indian Institute of HR Science & Management presents a session.
The workshop offers details on:
Human Resource Management is no longer about nuts and bolts. It's about people (or so the buzz goes!). HR has been in charge of shaping up the HR department with Millennials being one of the biggest targets.
Regardless of what you have been up to, it won't matter anymore if all we do is for extrinsic reasons (treating gratification as the ultimate end). "Value Discipline" in principles is all about balancing external rewards with internal ones.
It becomes harder to apply Value Discipline as our external gimmicks lose credibility and satisfaction with it disappears – instead people want meaning, engagement and appreciation not just perks because they don't need them anymore.
So learn how to collaborate with your staff to successfully build a new project programme by joining the top officers of IIHRSM. Be prepared to discuss and receive comments on any programmes or ideas you have. Even if you lack a clear concept, you are still welcome to attend the session in hopes of getting some inspiration. We shall explore a number of programme models, such as:
This workshop is required for students submitting a new program proposal for the first time.
Recent HR trends indicate that boards are gearing their annual meeting agendas towards topics such as pay equity, diversity to address the ever-changing workforce needs. Some of these upcoming trends are interesting opportunities for HR pros to take charge of their meeting scripts as well as set the tone appropriately.
With so much controversy around pay fairness, organizations are now making it a priority this year to boost transparency and be upfront about what they offer in terms of salaries. The other major trend is diversity. Organizations are expanding definitions of not just gender but race, culture and age. Diversity really helps organizations create more connection among teams which results in better understanding and trust among employees responsible for growing a business or accomplishing a mission together.
In addition to being aware of these common trends, HR directors also need to think about how they can provide insight on organizational challenges it faces today, present company’s ethical guidelines with vision ahead and clarify on how it plans to provide benefits needed. So attendance at a future Faculty-Led Upcoming HR Trends Workshop is welcomed for lecturers and academics.
This workshop will give an overview of the programme HR Trends process, present the faculty-led programme model, and offer some tools to get things going. Students will be guided step-by-step through the trends and proposal review processes in this programme.
New employees will require HR assistance. A part of this assistance should be keeping proper records of the new hire & balancing with new guidelines . It is a legal requirement under the equal employment opportunity to keep proper employment and personnel records in the presence of discrimination claims and litigation.
It is unclear which required documents are actually in Covid 19 currently, but there are some things each HR assistant will need to become familiar with when working with Covid 19, as this may differ from other things: Employee Type and Invitee Status.
Employees must have one of the many states to complete tasks requiring read/write access to their personnel folder: Active, Inactive or Invitee something like who owns a new hire's personnel profile during onboarding?: An HR member will only have limited read privileges as long as they do not act as an invitee during onboarding.
With these stipulations, it is clear that HR Resource Specialists need to be versed in Covid 19 specifics before joining an industry. So this workshop programme aids students in creating and integrating virtual global material and communication activities regarding Covid 19 into their existing things. Students can collaborate on assignments, gain a global perspective on a particular topic, and hone their intercultural competency skills by connecting their practical classes with students and faculty overseas through virtual exchange.
The workshop is intended to assist faculty programme directors, students, working professionals & featured guests in getting ready for their forthcoming summer abroad. It is held every Spring. The workshop team will discuss best practices on many different subjects, such as faculty roles, payroll, analytics, managing employees expectations and behaviour, emergency response, and case studies from prior programmes. Veteran faculty members will be asked to contribute their knowledge. The HR staff will send invitations to each faculty programme director.
